3 steps to Business Productivity
Posted by Reinecke Jesslyn on June 30th, 2009 filed in ProductivityI once had a partner who told me how many hours of the day he was working. He was making less than 50k/ year in the 14 hours he was working a day. he had no clue why he wasn’t making more money.
i enquired what he acieved during that time. It turned out that he was getting very little done. He was being totally unproductive.
So let’s diiscuss the practical steps you can take to be more productive? I shall take affiliate marketing as my example for this post.
1.Stop checking your emails. I see so many business people trying to multi talks. This is a huge mistake. They are passive responders to media, they are not running a business. The amount of time people waste answering emails is quite staggering. Many stop important activities in order to respond to mesasages that will not make them money. This is most unprofessional.
2. Use tools. So many marketers try to do things manually when they would be better off finding tools to them. This is what we call leverage of time. (We have a great piece of software in our affiliate marketing niche-ppc bully-that serves as a tremendous example of what you can do when you leverage your time).
3.Set realistic golas for yourself and build a plan of action. So many business people go into work without a set plan. They don’t have an idea about what they want to achieve in the next wek. This is a bad move. They stand zero chance of building a business without a system in place. In out business top affiliates all have an affiliate marketing strategy in place where they know what to do and how to do it.
You can find out more about productivity and the tools I use to leverage my time at our ppc bully review website. The neauty of all this is that it makes going to work fun when you become more productive. It also allows you to do more and work less.
