A body can respond in multiple ways. This can be an emotional response where a person is agitated, worried, unable to relax, worried, angry or depressed. Sweating, elevated heart rate, pain or nausea are the physical responses. The response can also be behavioral causing a person to change their sleeping or eating habits, or to start using addictive substances like alcohol or drugs. It can even manifest as little ticks like nail biting or foot tapping.

Stress is good thing, sometimes. In emergency situations like facing a wild animal or an armed robber, it is precisely your body’s response to stress that allows you to either fight or flee, essentially saving you from any harm. However, if stress continues in your life for a long time, it can cause harm to your body.

Those person are more susceptible to infections which left tired with their lowered immune system. So it is very significant to know how to combat stress and keep it under control. Give yourself the right amount of time for every activity in your life, whether it be work or family responsibilities. Be realistic in your goals for the day.

Create time for you to spend on yourself. Spend sometime for relaxation. Go after anything that will allow you to be carefree. Body should be taken care of properly. Eat well and sleep well. This will make your body feel healthy.
