Keyword Research Services - Steer Clear Until You’ve Read This

Chances are you struggle (like I do) with finding good keywords. Actually I can find loads of keywords. The problem is though that most are next to useless, or at least seem to be.

I thought the data from Google’s keyword tool was always bang on. Why wouldn’t I? Big company like that shouldn’t be giving false figures. Turns out they do and they don’t.

Any data you get isn’t accurate. However it would have been when they collated it. I discovered the answer almost by pure chance.

I went for a key phrase with around 5,000 pages competing against it. I was pretty sure I could get a good result with that keyword. I started churning out articles by the bucket load.

Not long after I saw that there were now almost nine thousand competing sites. I could hardly believe that. Had there been some mistake? As it happens most of these extra results were my articles on these different sites.

I would have definitely avoided this key phrase had I saw 9000 competing web pages. I was competing with myself as my article was on the majority of these new sites. A win win situation if you ask me.

I knew I wasn’t going to get lucky all the time so I decided to try a keyword research service. Getting a daily list of quality keywords sent is something that appeals to me. I calculated the cost of these services and concluded that they were value for money.

Of the keyword research services on offer I opted to try Travis Sago’s Instacash. Travis being at the top of the bum marketing pile. Bum marketing is something I really like.

It takes me an hour or two to come up with a couple of decent keywords. Getting them delivered is a huge help. Two hours or so to me is quite valuable. For what the service costs each day against my 2 hours means I’m getting huge value.

All the big marketers bang on about outsourcing. And what I’m trying here is simply that. I’m giving my keyword research to someone else to do. That’s outsourcing.

If you’re interested in how the trial of the Instacash service went then head on over to my web site. I mentioned earlier about getting thousands of articles published for a good keyword. I’ll let you know how I did that on my site
