Counting Down To Successful Time Management
Posted by Reinecke Jesslyn on March 4th, 2010 filed in Time ManagementThere are a lot of uses for a countdown timer. A lot of people use them on the Internet so that they can announce the upcoming birth of their child, their Birthday, Their wedding and even for special events such as Holidays.
I have seen such timers as this that are suppose to tell you when you are going to die, but this is a joke because no one knows when you are going to die. I think that A countdown timer is handy when you are cooking because it can keep you from burning your food.
They also use timers to count down a game like baseball, basketball and football. I think a timer is handy for the use of people who run track and some people even use a timer to let people know when their other half is getting home when they are stationed over seas.
I think having a timer is good because it helps you to remember things that you might forget. You can use a timer to remind you of a family members Birthday or a friends Birthday. You can even use one to remind you of other special events that you need to get to.
I use a timer when I am going on a jog to make sure how long I was on it and I always use one that counts down because I like it better this way versus having to look at the timer all the time and tell how long I have been jogging.
You can buy a timer at most department stores and they usually do not cost more than five or ten dollars. You can also find them online at several different stores and sometimes even at auctions, where you can sometimes get them even cheaper than you would at regular prices from stores.
